We want you to be fully satisfied with identity-js. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid subscriptions.
Summary
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days, we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime but refunds are not provided for the remaining billing period.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan (Pro, Business, or Enterprise) and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase date. This guarantee applies to:
- First-time subscriptions to any paid plan
- Plan upgrades (the 14-day window applies from the date of the upgrade)
To request a refund under the money-back guarantee, simply email us at andric.stevan@yahoo.com with your account email and the reason for your request (optional but appreciated). We will process your refund within 5-10 business days.
2. Cancellation After 14 Days
After the 14-day money-back period, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your account will remain on the paid plan until the end of your current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan
- No refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period
- Your analytics data will be retained according to the Free plan's retention period (7 days)
3. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, the 14-day money-back guarantee applies from the date of purchase. If you cancel an annual subscription after 14 days:
- You retain access to your paid plan features until the end of the annual billing period
- No partial or prorated refunds are issued for the remaining months
- The subscription will not renew at the end of the annual period
4. Refunds for Service Issues
If you experience significant service disruptions or technical issues that prevent you from using identity-js as intended, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund regardless of the 14-day window. Please contact us with details of the issue, and we will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis.
5. Refunds for Billing Errors
If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g., charged after cancellation, duplicate charges, or incorrect amounts), please contact us immediately. We will investigate and correct any billing errors promptly, issuing a full refund for any erroneous charges.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note:
- Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider
- Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency
- Any applicable taxes or fees that were collected by Paddle will also be refunded
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:
- Requests made after the 14-day money-back guarantee period (except for service issues or billing errors as described above)
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Failure to cancel before the subscription renewal date (however, we will consider refund requests for recent automatic renewals on a case-by-case basis if made within 48 hours of the renewal charge)
8. Downgrade vs. Cancellation
If you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan (e.g., Business to Pro), the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will not be charged for the higher plan after the current period ends. No refund is issued for the difference in the current billing period.
9. Free Plan
The Free plan is provided at no charge and therefore is not subject to this refund policy. You may use the Free plan indefinitely at no cost.
